Goto Command

The goto command moves you to a different room or player. It also allows you to define labels for rooms so you can just type in the label instead of the entire room path.

Syntax

• goto list

  • Lists the labels that you have previously defined.

• goto define <label>

  • Adds a new label with the specified name for the room you are currently in.

• goto <room>

  • Moves you to the room with the specified path.

• goto <player>

  • Moves you to the room that the specified player is in.

• goto <label>

  • Moves you to the room identified by the specified label.

Examples

> goto list
Defined Locations:
home   /home/tristan/rooms/home.room.xml

> goto define lounge
Defined current location as "lounge".

> goto radiac
You vanish to a different part of reality.
